Therapy creates an opportunity to better understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. My training to support that process is based on traditional psychoanalysis as well as contemporary research. Psychodynamic therapy specifically views present experiences in the context of the past and we would consider your circumstances through these lenses to increase awareness and options for your future.
Before clinical practice, I was a journalist who covered events around the world. That included listening to people in all kinds of circumstances with a belief that every voice deserves to be heard. The same is true in therapy.
