The first step towards therapy is significant. You may have questions about how it works or how we would work together and I invite you to bring those to our appointments.

My training is based on theories ranging from traditional analysis to contemporary models. Psychodynamic psychotherapy specifically views present circumstances in the context of the past and we would consider your experience through these lenses to increase awareness and understanding.

The therapeutic space creates a unique opportunity to observe and understand what is happening for you now and how your responses to it have developed over time so that more options are available to you in future.

Before clinical practice, I was a journalist for more than two decades covering events around the world. That included listening to people from all walks of life in all kinds of circumstances with a belief that every voice deserves to be heard. The same is true in therapy.
